This is freeware x-gram micro-spell-checker MASAKARI, revision 5.

Step 1: Copy your textual files/folders to folder 'Your_textual_folders' located in its home folder, they can be nested i.e. multi-level and GBs in size.
Step 2: Double-click on RUNME.BAT, or go to command prompt and execute it from its home folder.
Step 3: The two resultant files are auto-loaded first 'Your_words_familiar_to_Masakari.txt' into NOTEPAD and second 'Your_words_unfamiliar_to_Masakari.txt' into your browser as 'Masakari.html', that's it.

Add-on 2013-Jan-02:
[Not in the lite package!] In order to use x-gram checking you must start (it takes an hour) 'CREATE_BINARY_CHUNKS.BAT' located in '_Gamera_r15_3-grams' folder - it needs 22GB additional space, then to see what functionality you have got just run 'RUNME_2x3.BAT' or type '2x3.bat Sparrow_Gone.txt' after entering '_Gamera_r15_3-grams' folder - your result is gonna be loaded into NOTEPAD after 2-3 seconds.

Add-on 2012-Dec-21:
Reduced .bsc sizes by 200+MB. Free space requirement: 1.68GB.
[Not in the lite package!] To use 3-grams you need to start 'EXTRACT_ALL_COMPRESSED_FILES.BAT' located in '_Gamera_r15_3-grams' folder - it needs 11.1GB additional space.

Add-on 2012-Dec-17:
Added '_Gamera_r15_3-grams' folder in which you can check your files (in fact your 3-word phrases) against the GAMERA mini-3-gram corpus (100,088,208 entries).
Added 'RUNME_SPRY.BAT' allowing spry 3-grams vs 3-grams checks. Superfast for several hundred phrases. Speedwise.
Added 'RUNME_FAST.BAT' allowing fast 3-grams vs 3-grams checks. Superfast for several million phrases. Speedwise.
Added 'RUNME.BAT' allowing awfully slow 3-grams vs 3-grams checks. Useful for several phrases. Sizewise.
Note1: You need to run 'EXTRACT_ALL_COMPRESSED_FILES.BAT' located in '_Gamera_r15_3-grams' folder in order to make above three batches functional. Supertight compression was used.
Note2: Again just follow step 1 and step 2, then the resultant file is autoloaded into NOTEPAD.

Add-on 2012-Dec-07:
Just added some 500 words, mainly from SOED Q,X,Y,Z words.

Add-on:
Also I have added a simple tool converting a .TXT file to .HTML file which highlights the unfamiliar words - it is called SKYFALL and is located in txt2html folder.
A quick example:
D:\Masakari\txt2html>file2html.bat TXT\The_Complete_Ferengi_Rules_Of_Acquisition.txt

The line above will autoload the converted file into your Internet browser.

Add-on:
Last night another update of Masakari package has been done: dumping a suggestion (EXHAUSTIVE!) list for all unfamiliar (taken from your files) to current corpus (315,933 words) thus allowing to explore all 'akin' words within order 1 and 2.
This new feature makes of Masakari a word-play-tool i.e. something to play with.
My approach is simple and slow (for now), by using only two wildcards '^' and '$' (first stands for "any ALPHA character OR empty", second stands for "any ALPHA character AND not empty") the suggestion list will be always non-empty.
Just run 'RUNME_suggest.BAT' (located in '\Masakari' folder) and after several seconds you will have in NOTEPAD all suggestions for each unfamiliar word listed by groups.
Also, as usual 'Masakari.html' is autoloaded into your WEB-browser, in this case showing these 3 unfamiliar words:

Add-on:
Also I added my strstr benchmark with updated Railgun_Hasherezade function.
A quick example:
D:\Masakari\txt2html>Benchmark_Hasherezade_vs_7_vs_Gulliver.bat

Enfun!
